Darren C. – Neck Pain

by drtomgibson

Growing up, my family was always taken care of by a medical doctor for anything physical.  Medicines and drugs were always used to mask the symptoms.  I didn’t really think that upper cervical chiropractic would have any effect on me.  I had no inclination what upper cervical chiropractic meant when I first heard about it.  When I thought about chiropractic, I always pictured someone torqueing on my back, telling me that one leg was shorter than the other.  (Which it isn’t.)

Immediately I felt a change in the way I felt physically.  Over a period of time with the way I was watching TV or the way I was laying on my bed, it was always straining my neck.  And the tightness and aching spread to other area of my body in addition to continuous aching in my neck. The first time I got adjusted, immediatley there was loosing in my neck .  I didn’t believe that  50 – 60% of the pain was gone.

The care was non abrasive, it wasn’t a hassle, and it was simple.

I am now in a lot better mood because that constant pain that I had wasn’t there.  I am now also able to do more physical things.  I am no longer sore at work.  I am at a job where I am always having to move around and lift heavy things and get into certain positions, like manholes.  Stuff like that was painful before.

And the best things is that I am able to hang out with my kids on a consistent basis without having to be in pain.  (Like wrestling with my son or dancing with my daughter.)

I was skeptical about how just a little adjustment to your neck could affect so much. I would recommend this care, because it does work.

The reason why we came to Dr. Gibson was that my wife and daughter were in a car accident.  My daughter is an athletic young girl.  After the accident it was not only painful for her, but for us to see her running with a limp in her steps.  Over a period of time of her seeing Dr. Gibson she was able to get better and not being afraid to go for the ball, dance or whatever.  She was able to get back to normal.
